This is probably the 911 address sign you have seen the most. It's made of engineer grade materials and is used for regular street name signs.

It's green and white and both the background and numbers are highly reflective.

This is the new 911 address sign. It is made of the same materials as freeway signs. It's brighter at night and more durable.

In daylight it looks the same green and white as the regular sign from a distance but close up the numbers are the highly reflective "honeycomb" style.
